The topics and themes of this website are a mix of many areas of interest that I have. I love to learn, and it is my pleasure to be able to share thoughts, observations, and tidbits of value with you. My career in public safety and leadership has not been a straight path and was sometimes rocky, but I have relentlessly pursued experience in all aspects of the fields I work in. The diversity and volume of my experience provide me with a different lens to view our world through and a toolbox to solve problems. 

This is also my attempt at seeking a deeper understanding of reality and myself. The application of these findings in my everyday life is in keeping with my pursuit of virtue and personal excellence. I hope to inspire you to walk the path of excellence.
